I'm Aaron Blakeman, an infrastructure and systems person who likes the messy parts: storage, networking, Kubernetes, and the tooling that holds it all together. Binary Haze is where I keep field notes on the things I'm building, breaking, and occasionally fixing.

Expect posts on self-hosted infrastructure, ZFS and storage backends, developer tooling, and a recurring obsession with ergonomic mechanical keyboards. Everything here is written from hands-on experience in production-ish environments, so your mileage may vary.
